Welcome to Dorset Vale

We are a small holding in the hills of Southern Australia. We enjoy a cool to temperate climate with hot dry summers.

Our pets consume a great deal of our time but the rewards are plentiful. You can meet some of our four legged friends by visiting some of our other pages.

Apart from our animals we are interested in a permaculture style garden with fruiting plants interspersed with animals, vegetables and flowering plants. Although not strictly following the permaculture idea, we have taken the ideas and practices that suit us.
